Distingushed Guest Speaker: Raquel Bono, MD, MBA, FACS, Vice Admiral, U.S. Navy
For nearly 30 years Vice Admiral Raquel C. Bono, MD, MBA, FACS, served with honor and distinction as a highly respected Naval Officer and the first woman surgeon in the military to hold the rank of Vice Admiral. A board-certified trauma surgeon, Dr. Bono is an inspiration and role model for all surgeons, especially female surgeons across the country and in the military. Currently, Bono is the CEO of MedicaliSight, a 3D imaging and guidance software company for intra-procedural navigational guidance.

The venue for the 2025 meeting is the historic Pearl Brewery along the San Antonio River Walk. Events will be held at the Hotel Emma.

The golf tournament will be held at The Quarry Golf Course -- tee times begin at 8:00 a.m. The format
will be a four-man scramble and the cost is $155 per person. Members are encouraged to sponsor a resident for this event.

Sporting Clays – 9:00 a.m.
Location: National Shooting Complex, 5931 Roft Rd (210-254-1537)
The sporting clay event will be held at the National Shooting Complex beginning at 9:00am.
The National Shooting Complex will provide Certified Instructors, loaner guns (you may also bring your own), ammunition, eye
and ear protection, and beverages. Fifty sporting clays will be offered to each participant at a cost of $125. Members are
encouraged to sponsor a resident for this event. Guests are welcome. Please use the annual meeting registration form to
